BVP (Bharati Vidyapeeth)

About BVP:
The Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune was set up in 1964. It was Dr. Patangrao Kadam who brought the idea of such a University into reality. It started operating actively on 1996 after the Government of India promoted it, and the group of 12 Institutions under it, to a University. The main objective of this University was to invoke the dormant talents in Individuals so as to efficiently bring up the idea of National Development and work for bringing it to fruition and hence improve development of the economy as well.
The Bharati Vidhyapeeth offers aspirants a chance for admission in MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, courses under it, in the form of a national level Entrance test widely known as BVPMedical CET.
Structure of BVP Medical CET:
The BVP Medical CET will have multiple options objective questions based on Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology). There will be 200 questions and the candidates will be given 3 hours to finish the exam.
Personal Interviews will not be practiced and the candidate’s HSC marks will not be considered for admission.
Reservation of Seats:
Open for all states
MBBS 250 seats, BDS 300 seats: 15% (seats are reserved for Foreign / NRI (Non-Resident-Indian) / Management Category students)
Eligibility Criteria:
The candidates should have qualified physics, Chemistry and Biology with 50% marks in the Higher Secondary Level board examination and should be passed in English as well with the same. SC/ST students need only 40% marks for all the four subjects mentioned above.

How to Apply?
The Pune, Navi Mumbai and Delhi Institutes of the BVP will be open to distribute application forms for the BVP UG CET by the month of March. The University also facilitates the aid of Postal Service to deliver forms to the candidates if the candidates can submit request letters and a demand draft accompaniment of the prescribed amount including postal charges. Another option is to download the application form from the University’s website, fill it up, take a print out and send it to the exam authorities concerned along with the fee in the form of a demand draft. The form is charged600/- and the exam fee is said to be1500/-.
How to fill the Form?
Timely completion of application form fill up and submission is strongly advised. The candidates are to have great care and practice caution while filling so that there wouldn’t be inaccuracies. Paper forms should be dealt with carefully. Every entry should be neat and complete. The form should be revised in case there is a chance that there could be errors. Parental guidance is very much recommended to aid the candidates in filling the form.
Submissions should be by Registered or speed post. The D.D accompaniment should be in favor of the Registrar, BVU and payable at Pune. The candidates’ addresses in the form should be valid and detailed.
