KARNATAKA CET ADMISSION NOTIFICATION 2014

 

The Karnataka CET 2014 will be held on May 1 and 2, 2014. The Karnataka Examination Authority has announced the Karnataka CET 2014 Exam dates in their latest notification along with the details of the time as well as the no of questions that will be asked in each subject.

IIST ADMISSION NOTIFICATION 2014

 

The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) has announced the B.Tech 2014 Admissions. Candidates have to qualify in both JEE Main 2014 and JEE Advanced 2014 to be eligible for admissions to the B.Tech programmes at the institute. Check the IIST B.Tech 2014 Admission details below.

Programs : Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in

1. Aerospace Engineering


2. Avionics Engineering


3. Physical sciences.

IIST B.Tech 2014 Selection Procedure: Candidates must appear for the JEE Main 2014 conducted by the CBSE and qualify to appear for JEE Advanced 2014conducted by IITs. They must secure the minimum prescribed category-wise marks in JEE (Advanced)-2014 as mentioned below.

1. General Candidates (GEN): A minimum of 20% marks in aggregate and a minimum of 5% marks in each of the three subjects of Physics Chemistry and Mathematics.


2. Other Backward Community � Non Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) Candidates: A minimum of 18% marks in aggregate and 4.5% marks in each of the three subjects of Physics Chemistry and Mathematics.


3. Scheduled Caste(SC), Scheduled Tribe(ST) & Persons with Disabilities(PD) Candidates: A minimum of 10% marks in aggregate and at least 2.5% marks in each of the three subjects (Physics Chemistry and Mathematics).

IIST B.TECH 2014 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

1. Candidates must be Indian citizens.
2. Date of Birth: andidates must have been born on or after October 1, 1989 (SC/ST and PD Candidates must have born on or after October 1, 1984) 
   Note: The date of birth as recorded in the high school/first Board /or its equivalent will be accepted. If the school certificate does not mention the date of birth, candidates must submit an authenticated document from competent authority indicating the date of birth at the time of Counselling.
3. Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) (SC/ST/PD must have 60%)

IIST ADMISSION RANK LIST: WILL BE GENERATED ONLY FOR THOSE REGISTERED CANDIDATES FOR THE ADMISSION TO IIST AFTER SATISFYING ALL THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AS SPECIFIED IIST ADMISSION RANK LIST WILL BE ON THE BASIS OF THE CANDIDATES� ALL-INDIA RANK LIST (INCLUDING CATEGORY RANK) FOR JEE MAIN 2014 AS ANNOUNCED BY CBSE.
