Only those candidates who are allotted seats first time in round 2 and those who have to do dual reporting must report at the respective reporting centres and accept the seats. Please see "Announcements" for details.
NO Reporting: If you have accepted a seat in IITs/ISM in the previous round and now you have got a seat in any of the IITs/ISM only, then you DO NOT have to report to any RC.
Similarly, candidates continue with seats in NITs/IITs/Other-GFTIs do not have to report again.
Dual Reporting: If your seat in the previous round was in IITs/ISM and it is upgraded to a seat in NITs/IIITs/Other-GFTIs, then you must report once again to an RC of NIT+ system and accept the seat as per the reporting schedule of current round. It is similar if your seat in NITs/IIITs/Other-GFTIs is upgraded to a seat in IITs/ISM.
RC to Report: A candidate who is currently having a seat in NITs/IIITs/Other-GFTIs must only report to an RC of NIT+ system for any further service (e.g., withdraw or change of option). Similarly, those who are having seats in IITs or ISM must only report to an RC at IITs. Every time candidates must bring their documents for identity verification along with seat acceptance letter.
Withdrawal of Seat: Candidates who want to avail “withdraw” option must fill-in the requisite details (bank A/c No and cancelled cheque JPG image along with few basic details) online, generate Withdrawal Request Letter and carry the same to an RC for final formalities. Withdrawal cannot be processed without reporting at an RC.
Change of Option: Candidates who want to change their option (float/slide) of participating in further rounds must report to an RC along with filled-in form “Change of Option for Further Rounds”.
