Exams

Admission to the top BBA colleges in the country entails a two-step process: a written exam followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview session for the candidates who have cleared the first stage. However, many colleges accept students on the basis of entrance exam scores only.

The BBA entrance exams assess your basic managerial skills and knowledge about the business world. To do this, it tests:

  • General Awareness and Business Awareness
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • Reasoning Ability
  • English Proficiency

The main entrance exams conducted for BBA are:

Joint Entrance Test (Delhi University)

The written examination is designed to test the aptitude of the candidates to pursue the BBA/BBS/BFIA/ BBE courses. The selection criteria of the candidates will be based on an objective written test (common for BBS & BFIA programs) followed by an interview, group discussion.
Areas covered: Numerical Ability: 35 Questions English: 30 Questions Reasoning: 35 Questions Business & General Awareness: 20 Questions
Number of questions: 120 questions
Time: 120 minutes.
Marking: Each correct answer will get a score of plus 3 marks, each wrong answer will get a score of minus 1 mark

CET (GGISPU, New Delhi)

It is a written examination designed to test the students aptitude to pursue a BBA course in IP University. There is no GD-PI and students are given admission on the basis of their exam scores only.

SET ( Symbiosis University, Pune & Noida)

It is conducted by the Symbiosis University, Pune to test students aptitude for their BBA programs. The entrance exam is used to shortlist students for the GD-PI stage.

NMAT(C)-2012 for Admission to BBA and B.Com at Narsee Monjee, Mumbai
Seats Allocation Details : : Intake of 60 students in each of the programme
Selection Process:
Stage 1 All eligible candidates are required to appear for NMAT (C) (National Management Aptitude Test) to be conducted in 4 Metro Cities namely Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata & Mumbai.
Stage 2 Candidates will be short listed based on their performance in the Written Test. Such candidates will have appear for a personal interview at mumbai at their own cost.
